Our products begin life with a good helping of inspiration, backed up by German thoroughness and an eye for detail. We carefully plan our products using theoretical calculations and Finite Element Analysis to determine the safest, strongest but lightest way of making our brakes and forks.Our in-house test facilities then stress, strain and pound these designs to ensure they meet the highest standards while we inspect them, refining and improving them as we go. More testing is done using on-board data-logging in the lap and in the real world as we set up and tune these chassis. Finally, the prototypes are given a thorough and merciless testing by our external test riders. Whether they're World Cup racers, lunatic Alps crossing crash testdummies, global cycle-tourists in hot deserts and freezing mountains or hardriding, fast-living, 500 km-a-week bike messengers in Stuttgart, our products are expected to perform under all conditions with no excuses. Only when everyone is satisfied; from our engineers to our test riders, do we putt hese new products into production. Production that is done, by hand, inGermany. MAGURA has been in existence since 1893 and we have been building top-notch bike brakes for 20 years and high quality, German-made suspension forks for the past five years.
